Explore your practice from a new perspective! This workshop is designed to provide an introductory knowledge of handstand through building a solid foundation from the ground up. We will focus on building core strength, strengthening shoulders, improving endurance, and developing proper alignment and technique through a variety of exercises, drills, wall work and partner work. This workshop is appropriate for students who are new to handstands, but not new to yoga. Headstand and crow pose should be a part of the participants practice. In order to move toward handstand, it is important that you have a cultivated body awareness through regular asana practice.
